ODULATE APPOINTS A NEW SLG

Sagamu Local Government has officially sworn in Hon. Onalaja Kolawole as the new Secretary to the Local Government (SLG), citing his exceptional leadership style, competence, and ability to deliver results ¹.
At the swearing-in ceremony held at the Council Secretariat, Chairman Hon. Jubril Olasile Odulate emphasized the importance of Hon. Onalaja’s role, urging him to view his reappointment as a call to service and a test of his character. Hon. Odulate stressed the need for transparency, inclusiveness, and efficiency in all official engagements.

Hon. Odulate also expressed gratitude to the Governor for initiating various developmental projects, particularly the commencement of the Aiyepe road, which was a campaign promise. He encouraged residents to support the administration by paying taxes and levies, highlighting the government’s efforts to provide dividends of democracy through the “Building our Future Together Agenda” under the ISEYA mantra.
In response, Hon. Onalaja thanked the Governor and Chairman for the opportunity to serve, pledging his loyalty and support to move the council forward.
Additionally, APC leader Pa Rafiu Opaleye commended the Governor for ensuring even distribution of democracy dividends, specifically thanking him for initiating the Aiyepe road project, which is crucial for the secretariat.
