Urgent Appeal for Financial Assistance: Help Save Colette’s Life

Colette
Sixteen-year-old Colette Nwachukwu is in dire need of financial assistance to undergo a life-saving surgery after being diagnosed with advanced chronic kidney disease at the Gbagada General Hospital, Lagos.
Colette’s journey began with a fever, which led to a series of tests that confirmed the severity of her condition. Since then, she has been undergoing dialysis twice a week at N150,000 per session, totaling 19 sessions and millions of naira. Her family is now facing financial hardship.
Colette’s single mother, Rhoda Nwachukwu, is appealing to the public for support, having exhausted all her resources. “We’ve been living from hand to mouth since my daughter’s diagnosis. I’m relying on God and the goodwill of people, as my 20-year salary cannot cover the N22 million needed for the transplant.”
Colette is an intelligent and ambitious teenager who dreams of becoming a medical doctor. Her mother is determined to save her daughter’s life and preserve her talent.
