The Secretary of the Fusengbuwa Ruling House in Ijebu-Ode, Prince Adeleke Adeyemi, who also serves as General Secretary of the four ruling houses that produce the Awujale of Ijebuland, has restated the family’s firm recognition of Prince Otunba Adedokun Ajidagba as Olori-Ebi (head) of the Fusengbuwa lineage.
Speaking at his Onirungba office in Ijebu-Ode during an interactive session with journalists on Saturday, Prince Adeleke emphasized that Ajidagba’s leadership enjoys both historical backing and legal validation, stressing that the family remains united and undistracted.
“I have said this repeatedly: our family has the support of history and facts preserved by our forefathers at Ilenla Compound, Agunsebi. These facts are indisputable,” he affirmed.
According to him, the leadership of Ajidagba rests on a foundation of archival records, official certifications, and judicial pronouncements, all of which reinforce the family’s heritage while ensuring clarity in succession matters.
