‎IFO APC APEX LEADERS ADOPT HON. ADIJAT AS CONSENSUS CANDIDATE ‎

 

‎In a decisive move aimed at strengthening unity and upholding the progressive ideals of the party, the Apex Leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ifo Local Government Area has formally adopted the former State Lawmaker, Hon. Motunrayo Adijat Adeleye, as the consensus candidate for the Federal House of Representatives.

‎The decision was reached at a strategic meeting involving the four aspirants for the position, presided over by the Chairman of the Apex Leaders, Chief Joju Fadairo. The meeting was attended by notable party stakeholders, including Chief Derin Adebiyi, Rt. Hon. Olakunle Oluomo, the Local Government Party Chairman, Barr. Olumide Oduwole, and the entire membership of the Apex body.

‎Speaking at the end of the engagements with the aspirants, Chief Fadairo noted that the unanimous decision of the leaders was driven by the need to sustain internal cohesion, promote inclusiveness, and position the party strongly for electoral success. He commended all the aspirants for their maturity, understanding, and commitment to party unity, urging them to sustain the same spirit of cooperation as the party progresses to subsequent stages of the electoral process.

In their respective responses, the aspirants, Asiwaju Lateef Adesina , Bashorun Olaniran Olalekan (BOOM) and Dr. Ademola Evans, (DEDEMBULA), commended the leadership of the party and assured the leaders of their total support for Hon. Motunrayo Adijat during the forthcoming Primary and General elections.

 

‎In her remarks, Hon. Adeleye expressed deep appreciation to the party leadership for their confidence and unwavering support, describing the decision as both humbling and a call to greater responsibility. She also commended the transparent and consultative process that led to her emergence, acknowledging the goodwill and belief reposed in her by fellow aspirants and stakeholders.

‎She assured the party of her commitment to justify the trust placed in her, pledging to uphold the ideals of the party.
