* lauds Tinubu’s economic reforms, supports re-election bid
* Says Akara, Boli business ideas of First lady was blown out of proportion
A socio-political group, Relax Tinubu Is Fixing Nigeria (RTIFN) has called on the Ogun State Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Senator Olamilekan Adeola to make himself accessible to all.
The Ogun state coordinator of the group, Okereafor Bestman Opeyemi, stated this while briefing newsmen in Abeokuta, the State capital.
He noted that the Governorship election will not be child’s play for the APC candidate, advising him to take inclusiveness very serious in order for him to have strong edge over his opponents.
Okereafor noted ” We have carefully studied the trajectory of ogun state politics and the current reality, Uneasy they say lies the head that wears the crown, the road to Okemosan will not be an easy fight for Senator Adeola Olamilekan.
“This is time for inclusivity, and accessibility because at the moment he seems to be inaccessible. As a potential jinx breaker for the Ogun west senatorial district it is extremely important that all structures of like-minds such as RTIFN must be carried along, even as he should be careful of fake and audio promises while focusing and embracing bodies with grassroots influence, organic capacity, public goodwill and sincere commitment that may translate to electoral success in 2027”, he stated.
He lauded the economic and structural developmental programs of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, saying that the reforms are yielding positive results.
Okereafor added that with his achievements, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu deserves a second term in office, to fully complete his economic and structural reforms.
“Part of the President’s reforms have significantly boosted monthly allocations to states and local governments, improving their capacity to deliver social services and pay salaries.
“No state government is struggling to pay salaries since the inception of this administration.
“The administration has secured over $30 billion in foreign investment commitments, which tend to greatly improve the economy, this is an obvious renewed trust in the country’s trade and business environment, this direct investment tends to create more employment opportunities while further improving the economy.
“With stabilized exchange rates and improved crude oil production (ramping up past 1.8 million barrels per day), Nigeria’s foreign reserves have crossed the $40 billion mark.
“Today we now have the South West
Development Commission, South East Development commission among others.
“ASUU strike has become a thing of the past in Nigeria under this administration, and academic calendars have been going on smoothly because Mr. President understands the value of education”, he said
“We are not unaware of the security situation of the country and complaints about global economic hardship and frantic effort being made by security agencies we are optimistic that in no
distance time we shall overcome , we acknowledge the successes recorded so far by the Military and other security agencies, and strongly believe in the digital inclined leadership of IGP Tunji Disu , and the proactive and unrelenting efforts of Ogun State Command of the NPF led by Cp Bode Ojajuni, hence
the appeal to Nigerians to Relax.
We are optimistic that very very soon the abducted OyO Students will
regain their freedom unharmed. We implore Ogun residents to utilize the Gateway shield App of the
Ogun NPF command and toll-free line to report any crime for immediate action”
While reacting to the First lady, Mrs Oluremi Tinubu advice to the youths to venture in Akara and Boli businesses, the RTIFN Ogun State coordinator, said the comments was blown out of proportion.
