The All Progressives Congress (APC) Candidate for the House of Representatives, Ifo/Ewekoro Federal Constituency, Hon. Motunrayo Adijat Adeleye, has intensified consultations and reconciliation efforts across Ifo and Ewekoro Local Government Areas with a series of consolidation visits to party leaders, stakeholders, ward executives and support groups.
The stakeholders reaffirmed their unwavering commitment to delivering overwhelming victory for the APC in the forthcoming general elections.
The Tracker reports that the engagements, held across Ewekoro and Ifo I State Constituencies attracted an impressive gathering of party stalwarts, traditional rulers, elected officials and grassroots mobilisers.
Adeleye was accompanied by the APC House of Assembly Candidates for Ewekoro State Constituency, Hon. Abiodun Adeleye, and Ifo I State Constituency, Hon. Ibrahim Amosu, as they jointly appreciated party faithful for their steadfast support throughout the primary election process while seeking greater unity ahead of the campaigns.
Addressing party members, Adeleye explained that the visit was not a campaign tour but an appreciation and consolidation meeting aimed at strengthening internal cohesion within the party.
“The official campaign period will provide the opportunity to unveil our agenda and vision for the people of Ifo/Ewekoro Federal Constituency. Today’s visit is simply to appreciate our leaders, members, ward executives, Apex leaders and the various support groups for the confidence they have reposed in us. We are also here to bridge every gap where necessary and reinforce the unity that will deliver victory for our great party,” she stated.
She added that the APC has consistently demonstrated that progressive politics thrives on inclusiveness, consultation and mutual respect, noting that the leadership style of the party’s Governorship Candidate, Senator Olamilekan Adeola, has continued to provide a worthy example of people-oriented and unifying politics worthy of emulation. She further disclosed that arrangements had reached an advanced stage for the commencement of the renovation of the party’s Local Government Secretariat as part of efforts to strengthen the party’s institutional structures.
Speaking on behalf of party leaders in Ewekoro Local Government, the APC Chairman, Alhaji Ayinde Sogbamu, described the visit as a reflection of humility, political maturity and deep appreciation for the party structure. He expressed confidence in her candidature and assured her of the total support of the party across the Local Government. Similar assurances were echoed by the Executive Chairman of Ewekoro Local Government, Hon. Sikiru Adesina, Evang. J. K. Akinsoji, and the Olu of Itori, Oba Fatai Akanmo, who commended the emergence of Adeleye as a product of fairness and progressive consensus while urging residents to support all APC candidates during the elections.
At the Ifo meeting, party leaders, including the Local Government Chairman and Acting Apex Chairman, Barr. Olumide Oduwole, Chief Derin Adebiyi, Aare Tunde Alabi, and other chieftains, applauded stakeholders for embracing equity and political balance, describing Adeleye’s emergence as a collective victory for the Federal Constituency. They pledged to mobilise unprecedented support for all APC candidates while intensifying participation in the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise to guarantee victory at the polls.
Among dignitaries present at the Ewekoro engagement were the Olu of Itori, Oba Fatai Akanmo, APC Chairman Alhaji Ayinde Sogbamu, Executive Chairman Hon. Sikiru Adesina, Vice Chairman Alhaja Abisola Aliyu, APC House of Assembly Candidate Hon. Abiodun Adeleye, Evang. J. K. The Ifo meeting was attended by party leaders, including Dr. Sikirulai Ogundele, Aare Tunde Alabi, Barr. Olumide Oduwole, Chief Derin Adebiyi, Hon. Johnson Fatoki, Hon. Fola Salami, Prince Dapo Adeyemi, Hon. Wole Enilolobo, Moruf Paramole, Pastor Matthew Oladele, Engr. Saheed Ariori, Hon. Kikelomo Delano, alongside ward executive members, Apex leaders, youth groups, women leaders and party faithful who unanimously reaffirmed their readiness to work together for another resounding APC victory in Ifo/Ewekoro Federal Constituency.
