The Ogun State Chapter of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) has congratulated Comrade Isaiah Benjamin on his re-election as the National President of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN).
The Ogun SWAN Chapter described Benjamin’s re-election as a strong vote of confidence in his leadership, vision, dedication, and commitment to the growth and development of sports journalism in Nigeria.
In a congratulatory message signed by the Ogun SWAN Chairman, Michael-Azeez Ogunsiji, the association commended the SWAN national leadership under Isaiah Benjamin for its efforts towards repositioning the Association, promoting the welfare of sports writers, and strengthening the professional standing of sports journalism across the country.
The Association noted that Benjamin’s return to office provides an opportunity to consolidate on the gains recorded during his previous tenure while pursuing new initiatives that will further unite members, improve their welfare, and create greater opportunities for professional development.
Ogun SWAN expressed confidence that the re-elected National President will continue to provide purposeful, inclusive, and progressive leadership, while maintaining a strong commitment to the interests of SWAN members nationwide.
The chapter also pledged its continued support and cooperation with the national leadership as the Association moves forward with its programmes and initiatives.
Ogun SWAN further called on all members of the Association to unite behind the national leadership and work collectively towards achieving the common goals of professional excellence, improved welfare, unity, and the advancement of sports journalism in Nigeria.
