The Ogun State Chairman of Allied Peoples’ Movement (APM), Comrade Abayomi Sanyaolu on Monday warned politicians which he described as meddlesome interlopers and impostors to stay clear of the party.
Sanyaolu in a statement issued and made available to newsmen in Abeokuta, the state capital, noted that TPL Rotimi Babajide remains their governorship candidate of the APM in the State.
The tracker reports that over the weekend, posters of Biodun Ogundipe Collins, popular known as BCO flooded the social media as the party’s flag bearer.
He noted that no controversy about the party’s gubernatorial candidate and the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC has confirmed Babajide ‘s candidature.
In his word , ” INEC has released the Final list of Candidates and TPL ROTIMI BABAJIDE has been officially announced and confirmed by INEC as the Governorship Candidate of APM in Ogun State, please disregard any contrary insuniation from any quarter”.
He added, “I am therefore using this medium to assure Ogun state Electorates and our teeming supporters that there is no controversy about our Governorship candidate”.
Sanyaolu therefore urged Ogun electorates to continue to support the party, assuring that with their votes, APM’S candidate will emerge come 2027.
He said, ” Feel free to support APM and vote in TPL Rotimi Babajide as the next Governor of Ogun State” Sanyaolu declared.
