Pregnant Woman Rescued from Domestic Violence in Lagos

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE

The Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency (DSVA) swiftly intervened to rescue a pregnant woman from domestic violence in Mushin.

According to Leadership, DSVA Executive Secretary, Mrs. Titilola Vivour-Adeniyi, reported the agency’s prompt response to a distress call, leading to the arrest of the alleged assailant.

The expectant mother, physically assaulted and locked in her Mushin apartment, was rushed to the hospital by concerned neighbors.

DSVA emphasizes the state’s zero-tolerance stance on domestic violence and urges victims to seek help promptly through their hotline or visit their office in Ikeja.
