Super Falcons Return Home After Historic WAFCON Victory

The Super Falcons of Nigeria have returned to the country following their triumphant outing at the 2025 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) in Morocco, where they claimed a record-extending 10th continental title.

The team touched down at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja at approximately 2:26 p.m. on Monday aboard a chartered flight.

Marking the moment of glory, team captain Rasheedat Ajibade emerged from the aircraft holding the WAFCON trophy aloft — a powerful symbol of the team’s victorious homecoming and national pride.
