Popular Nigerian rapper, singer and songwriter, Crown Uzama, Known professionally as Shallipopi, has narrated how hunger motivated him to make money.
He gave this revelation during an interview with Turntable, hosted by rapper, Odumodublvck.
In the interview, Odumodu inquired about the terrible occurrence that inspired him to achieve success by all means.
Shallipopi who recounted his ordeal with hunger, explained that he began to reflect on his life after he drank garri for 10 days in a row.
“Make you just taste garri for 10 straight days, then you go rethink your life. You go blow by force.”
Shallipopi rose to mainstream fame in 2023 following the release of his single “Elon Musk”, which peaked at number one on the Nigeria Top 100 Apple Music.
