Actress Regina Daniels has spoken concerning the response surrounding her previous statement about having multiple boyfriends before marrying Ned Nwoko.
Daniels who sparked controversy by mentioning that she had 20 boyfriends who provided for her basic needs before meeting her husband.
She took to Instagram to clarify that her past relationships were platonic and not physical.
However, she emphasised that she married Nwoko as a virgin, contrary to speculation.
According to her, she sought to educate young girls on maintaining boundaries in relationships, stressing that having male friends willing to provide for them doesn’t obligate them physically.
She wrote on Instagram: “Hey everyone I want to clarify the 20 boyfriends solely to soothe my husband and also educate young girls that having several male/boy friends willing to do things for you doesn’t mean you owe them your body. And oh yes. I did have a lot but I made a promise to keep my virginity till my marriage. And guess what? I did!!!. It’s a big flex.
“But hold on ! What did you guys expect na ? It was your little beautiful sweetheart, Regina Daniels of course men and ladies would admire. So everyone chill pls”.
