Ogun State Schools to Embark on First Term Holiday from December 16

The Ogun State Ministry of Education, Science and Technology has announced that all public and private primary and secondary schools, as well as government science and technical colleges, will proceed on holiday for the 2024/2025 first term academic session. The holiday will commence on Monday, December 16, 2024, and end on Friday, January 3, 2025.

According to the Commissioner, Prof. Abayomi Arigbabu, schools are expected to resume for the second term academic activities on Monday, January 6, 2025. Parents and guardians have been advised to take adequate care of their wards during the holiday and prepare them for immediate resumption, as academic work will commence immediately.
