Residents of Lisa community in Ifo local government of Ogun State, have commended the free medical outreach, sponsored by Onilisa of Lisa Kingdom,

The medical outreach which involved cleaning of teeth was held at the palace in Lisa on Tuesday.
Hundreds of residents and people of the environs, expressed their gratitude to Oba Odugbemi for sponsoring the dental medical outreach.
Oba Odugbemi, according to the residents not only put smiles on the faces of the people but has also improved the health and well being of members of the Community.
The residents who commended the visionary leadership of Oba Odugbemi for his compassion and unwavering commitment to the welfare of his subjects, said that the generosity from the traditional ruler has distinguished himself among the comity of traditional rulers in Nigeria.
They stressed that Lisa community is blessed with genuine leader who cares about the welfare of the people in the grassroots.
The residents were confident that the reign of Oba Odugbemi will continue to bring unprecedented peace, health and progress to Lisa community.
While commenting on the free dental teeth cleaning outreach, Oba Odugbemi disclosed that the programme was meant to capture 300 members of the community, saying that over 200 have benefitted so far from the programme in a day.
Oba Odugbemi said that over 15 people have their teeth that have been giving them nightmare removed which could have cost each of them one hundred thousand naira in a dental hospital.
The traditional ruler assured the residents of the community of more welfare programmes, aimed at adding more value to the lives of the people in the community.
He called on the government at all levels to continue providing the basic amenities in the interest of development and well- being of the people.
The monarch urged both the federal and state governments to come to the aid of the masses by constructing the the bad road linking from Ijoko- Oluke- Oyero – Lisa community and also renovate the memorial arcade orchestrated by the ill- fated bell view crash in Lisa in 2005 which needed urgent attention of government.
It could be recalled that Oladele Odugbemi foundation owned by the Onilisa of Lisa Kingdom, Oba Najeemdeen Oladele Odugbemi has been embarking on a lot of developmental programmes in Lisa over the years such as sponsoring children of the community to primary, secondary schools and higher institution through scholarships.
The achievements of the foundation, include empowerment programme for the widow and women to take care of their basic needs, sponsoring so many medical outreach.
Also, the foundation also facilitated grading of the bad roads in the community to make it passable for the people, construction of offices for the security personnel like So – safe corps and Vigilante to take care of security in the community.
The foundation also brought NIN officials to the community to register the people of Lisa community and its environ among others.
