The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Ogun State Council, has congratulated Governor Dapo Abiodun, CON, on the occasion of his 66th birthday and seven remarkable years of impactful, purposeful and people-oriented leadership in the State.
The Tracker recalled that, since assuming office in 2019, Governor Abiodun has consistently demonstrated exemplary leadership, administrative competence and an unwavering commitment to the growth and development of Ogun State.
Through his ISEYA agenda, his administration has recorded significant achievements in infrastructure renewal, education, healthcare, agriculture, industrialization and youth empowerment, thereby improving the standard of living of the people across the state.
In a joint congratulatory message by its State Chairman, Comrade Wale Olanrewaju and Secretary, Comrade BUNMI Adigun, the council lauded the governor’s cordial relationship with the media and his belief in the important role of journalists as partners in democratic governance.
” His administration has continued to uphold press freedom, encourage professionalism and create an enabling environment for the media to thrive in carrying out its constitutional responsibilities,” the statement added.
The council also celebrated his humility, visionary leadership, peaceful disposition and dedication to public service.
The statement reads “His passion for good governance and inclusive development has continued to earn him admiration within and outside Ogun State, while positioning the state as a leading destination for investment and economic growth in Nigeria.
The Union prays that Almighty God grants Governor Dapo Abiodun more wisdom, sound health and strength to continue his service to humanity and the people of Ogun State. The Ogun NUJ wishes him many more fruitful years and greater accomplishments in leadership”.
