Following the successful completion of his two-year tenure, the Secretary of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Ogun State Council, Comrade Bunmi Adigun, has congratulated the immediate past Chairman of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), Abeokuta Branch, Engr. Olumayowa Ayodeji Idowu, FNSE.
Adigun in a statement issued and personally signed, commended Idowu for what he described as impactful and visionary leadership, noting that his administration strengthened the visibility, professionalism, institutional relationships and development of the NSE Abeokuta Branch.
He particularly praised the outgoing Chairman for his commitment to service, teamwork and the advancement of engineering and society, saying his achievements have provided a solid foundation for the new administration.
The NUJ Secretary also congratulated the new Chairman, Engr. Dr. Adekunle Musa, FNSE, and urged him to build on the legacies of his predecessor while introducing fresh initiatives that would further position the Branch for greater accomplishments.
Adigun wished Engr. Idowu continued success in his service to the Nigerian Society of Engineers, particularly in his current role as Chairman of the NSE Branch Chairmen Forum, expressing confidence that his wealth of experience would continue to benefit the engineering profession and the society at large.
