The TRACE Officers’ Wives Association (TROWA) recently conducted a sensitization program for market women, men, and motorcycle riders on the importance of prioritizing safety while doing business.
During the Annual Sensitization and Fitness Walk IN Abeokuta, TROWA Chairperson Mrs. Moronke Ogunyemi emphasized the need for traders to avoid displaying their wares by the roadside saying this practice can cause traffic congestion and lead to accidents that could be fatal.

To Addressing this issue, Ogunyemi encouraged the market men and women to utilize the shops and stalls provided by the government instead of selling by the road. She also advised motorcycle riders to wear proper helmets to protect themselves from head injuries in case of accidents.
Also, TROWA stressed the importance of maintaining a clean market environment to prevent the spread of diseases. TRACE Commander General Olaseni Ogunyemi commended TROWA’s efforts in promoting safety awareness and traffic management among market traders and motorcycle riders during the event.
