The National Secretary of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Comrade Kayode S. Agbeyangi, has described the Ogun State governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, popularly known as Yayi, as a “political messenger” ordained to change the destiny of Ogun State.
Agbeyangi stated this in a congratulatory message to mark Adeola’s 57th birthday, describing the APC governorship candidate as a visionary, courageous and people-oriented leader whose commitment to the development of Ogun State and the welfare of its people has remained commendable.
The NURTW national secretary, who is also the Convener of the Ogun State Pathfinders, a civic platform committed to promoting good governance, sustainable development and leadership excellence, said Adeola was born with a divine purpose to provide purposeful leadership and contribute to the transformation of Ogun State.
He said the APC governorship candidate had distinguished himself through his years of public service, demonstrating exceptional leadership qualities, political maturity and a strong sense of responsibility.
“Senator Olamilekan Adeola is not just a politician; he is a political messenger whose emergence at this critical period carries a greater purpose. I believe he was ordained to change the destiny of Ogun State and give the people a new sense of direction.
“Yayi has demonstrated over the years that leadership is not about occupying an office, but about accepting the responsibility to serve, inspire and make a positive difference in the lives of the people. His courage, vision and uncommon determination are qualities that set him apart.
“His passion for Ogun State, his commitment to development and his ability to connect with people across different backgrounds show that he understands the aspirations of the people. I am confident that his experience and leadership capacity will be brought to bear in taking Ogun State to greater heights,” Agbeyangi said.
According to him, Adeola’s emergence as the APC governorship candidate not only reflects the confidence reposed in him by party members and supporters but also represents a fulfilment of the divine assignment for which he was born.
Agbeyangi noted that Adeola’s experience in the National Assembly, coupled with his understanding of governance and grassroots politics, had positioned him as a leader capable of addressing the aspirations and challenges of the people.
He particularly praised the senator’s accessibility and ability to connect with people across different social and political backgrounds, describing him as a leader who understands that genuine leadership is about service to the people.
Agbeyangi expressed confidence that Adeola would continue to contribute positively to the political and socio-economic development of Ogun State, urging him to remain steadfast in his commitment to the people.
He prayed for God’s continued protection, wisdom, good health and greater accomplishments for the APC governorship candidate, wishing him many more years of impactful service.
He said Adeola’s birthday was an opportunity to celebrate not only his personal milestone but also his contributions to public service and the political development of Ogun State.
