As Nigeria beat South Africa and Ivory Coast beat Dr Congo, the stage is set for an epic showdown between the duo to battle to be the winner in the Africa Cup of Nations final.
After a thrilling semi-final clash against DR Congo, the Elephants of Ivory Coast secured their spot in the championship match, and now they face a formidable opponent in the Super Eagles.
Earlier on, Super Eagles had a tight match with the Bafana Bafana as they both had 1-1 in full time which led to penalty shootouts.
The penalty led to a 4-2 goals in favor of the super eagles.
Both Nigeria and Ivory Coast are therefore qualified to play the final.
The Super Eagles and the Elephants are now to face each other on Sunday for the AFCON final.
